Sensory Augmented Wine Tasting Experience Design
Senior Capstone Project

  • Investigated industry shifts and synthesized findings into a detailed essay on sensory augmentation within the food and beverage sector and the application of midair haptics technology, offering valuable perspectives on future innovations.

  • Coded three bespoke haptic patterns utilizing Ultraleap haptic modules to pair with and enhance selected wines.

  • Devised and executed user testing to 50 participants, resulting in 82% project success rate.

  • Exhibited wine tasting at a school event to hundreds of professors, industry professionals, and event attendees.

La Universidad Politécnica de Valencia
  • Developed innovative design concepts during an immersive Industrial Design program at a Georgia Tech-affiliated university in Valencia, Spain, enhancing cross-cultural understanding and global design perspectives; integrated Spanish design principles into projects.
